Remembering Steven R. Kreamer

The Mount Gretna International Film Festival is honored to dedicate our festival to the memory of Steven R. Kreamer, community leader and beloved family member of three of hard working committee members, Brenda & Christian Kreamer, and Ginny Sanger.

Steve passed away on March 4, 2025, but the impact he made on the people and communities around him continues to live on.

A lifelong resident of Annville, Steve spent more than 40 years serving families as a licensed funeral director and was the former owner of Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory. But his legacy reached far beyond his profession. He was deeply committed to his community, generously giving his time and energy to countless organizations and causes throughout Lebanon County and beyond.

Steve was a man who believed in showing up—for his community, for his friends, for his family, and for the things he cared about.

He brought enthusiasm, kindness, humor, and a genuine love of people to everything he did. We are grateful for the time we had with him, the memories we shared.

This year, as we gather to celebrate independent filmmakers and the power of storytelling, we will also celebrate Steve.

His passion for life, his dedication to his community, and his love for the people around him are a part of the spirit we carry forward.
